Title: Dr. Slushio
OS: Win32
Language: C++
File: drslushio-1.2.2.zip
Dr. Slushio is an obvious clone of one of my favorite puzzle games. It's one of the few games that I've written that I consider complete. I made all the graphics, all the code, all the sound effects, and all the music. Special thanks to my beta-test team, Tardicus and Squeege Update - 12/20/04: Version 1.2.2 released Version 1.2.2 Changes: - Changed build to use static link for MFC. (Thanks Tardicus)
Update - 12/19/04: Version 1.2.1 released Version 1.2.1 Changes: - Minor bugfix; code reading from the registry caused program to hang if registry entry wasn't there. (Thanks Squeege)
Update - 12/19/04: Version 1.2 has now been released. Version 1.3 is also planned. Version 1.2 Changes: - Improved graphcs - Top score tracking - Fixed a bug where piling up on the right side caused a game over (Thanks to Tardicus for this) - Changed speed of falling pills and initial speed - Speed of pills increases over time per board
Update -12/12/04: A few people didn't realize you can rotate the pieces. The keys for the game are z and x to rotate, and the arrow keys to move the piece. Version 1.1 Changes: - Pause button is now F3 - Game pauses if the window loses focus - Fixed gameover bug where pills were almost at the top of the screen - Thanks to Tardicus and Squeege for v1.1 beta-testing | |
