Tile Editor was the start of a C# project to make an RPG. I created a map editor using a very componentized approach. The map viewing component could have been used as a base class for the map used in-game. The tile browser was also a component, so it would have been easily reusable if I made a script editor or something along those lines. The map engine I wrote supported multiple tile sets, serializable maps, 3 layered rendering (you can see the layered rendering in the picture), as well as smooth scrolling.
